What’s in My Purse? & Sasa.com Haul

I know I’m a little late on the What’s in My Purse tag, but I have been so busy this week! School just started and I signed up for way more classes than I actually plan on taking just because I like to have more options since I’m going to drop some of them. Anyway, here it is! Contents of my purse:

Everyday for school I lug around my big ass Longchamp bag and toss all of my textbooks and notebooks in there. But I won’t take pictures of the boring stuff, so what I normally keep in there are:

First row, L to R: Nintendo DS (dorky I know, I’m still looking for a nice slim case for it), iPod touch, Fendi glasses
Second row, L to R: mini Bliss Naked Body Butter, Sephora mirror, Barneys New York Wallet/ID case, Kate Spade sunglasses
Third row, L to R: big black makeup bag, Samsung cell phone, keys (ignore the naughty keychain…my friend gave it to me as a joke)

Pretty simple, now the contents of my mysterious makeup bag…

- Shiseido brightening powder compact (I just bought this…will do a review at a later time…it’s seriously amazing!)
- mini Ojon glossing mist
- random Asian blotting papers
- Clinique buttershine lipstick in Poppy Love (my FAVORITE lippie)
- Band-aid Blister Block Stick (doesn’t really work to be honest)
- little purse size perfume spray
- Chapstick lip butter
- Sally Hansen Cuticle Moisturizing pen
- Refresh Contacts
- mini MUFE lipliner
- C.O.Bigelow mentha lip tint
- Band-aid

There you have it, insides of my purse. Pretty boring huh.

Now the exciting part…my Sasa.com order finally came!! I can’t believe how generous they are with the shipping…Free shipping for orders of $50 or more, especially since they are shipping all the way from Hong Kong! It’s a pretty good deal I think.

I ordered 4 of the Baby Pink lipglosses that I have heard so much about:

From L to R: Pearl, Peach, Cherry, and Apricot

A close up so you can see the colors and the shimmers better: Peach, Apricot, Cherry and Pearl

Pearl, Peach, Cherry and Apricot

I really love these glosses, the texture is great, not too sticky and not too thin, but they ARE on the sheer side so when I apply them they all pretty much look the same except Pearl and Apricot have noticeably more shimmers than the other two.

In addition to the BabyPink glosses, I also got:

Chanel and Dior lippies at a discount!! At first I was a little paranoid about ordering them since they were way cheaper than their normal prices that I was afraid they would be testers or really old and damaged or something. But they actually turned out really great!

Chanel Glossimer in Praline, Dior Plastic lipgloss in Euphoric Beige (this is the thicker and more opaque gloss with a gold cap, not the more sheer Dior Addict glosses), Dior lipstick in Stellar Brown.

A kind of crappy close up of the Dior lipstick in Stellar Brown. It was only $16!! Seriously a steal for a Dior lipstick. I couldn’t really zoom in on it clearly even on the Macro mode. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. A gorgeous peachy nude with very subtle gold and silver shimmers. It looks super pretty on, and the texture is pigmented and moisturizing. I cannot rave enough about Dior lip products.

The Dior Addict Plastic gloss has great texture and the gloss itself is quite pigmented and opaque, which I really love. I see that it is sold out on the Sephora website, and it has gotten great reviews on MUA. I got this for $18.10. Not bad compared to the normal $24.50 price tag.

And lastly the Chanel glossimer. I had really high hopes for Chanel glossimers and I was definitely not disappointed. I find the texture and coverage to be very similar to the Dior Plastic gloss, and the color is a pretty rose/mauve, very similar to the new NARS Dolce Vita lipgloss. I got this for $19.70 :D

L to R: Chanel Praline, Dior Euphoric Beige, Dior Stellar Brown.

Basically, I am very happy with my Sasa.com order. None of the items let me down, and that’s always a rarity. I still have my Victoria’s Secret order and Madame Madeline order that I have yet to review, so I will be doing that next week hopefully if I have time. :)
