Thanks! :)

Yes, I know that I said I had sworn off mineral makeup, but it turns out every other brand of MMU that I had tried had caused me redness and irritation whereas Everyday Minerals was the only brand that did not irritate me.  Not to mention, I love their color selection and coverage the best.  The Semi-Matte formula is by far my favorite, medium coverage that is slightly luminous.  So I ordered the Custom Full kit which included 6 full sized items for only $34!! That’s quite a steal, especially since I ordered all the pricey stuff haha.  Besides getting 2 jars of my perfect match foundation in Golden Light, I also picked up 3 of their new pressed powder blushes and a Sunlight Finishing Dust.  I also received a freebie bronzer called Start to Finish Bronzer and 2 eyeshadows.   I’m just going to briefly review the blushes and bronzer.

Waffle Cone blush:

I fell in love with this blush when I got a little sample in loose powder form, so of course I had to order the one in pressed form.  I really like their new pressed powders, it’s way more convenient and less messy, and the colors stay true to their original form.  The only downside is the unbelievably crappy cardboard packaging, it is just so flimsy and cheap.  I would’ve liked it much better if they used tin or aluminum instead.  I wouldn’t travel with these.

Apple blush:

Apple is beautiful!! My favorite of the bunch.  No wonder it’s their best seller.  It’s a matte rosey shade that just looks so flattering and brightening on the cheeks.

Summer Stroll blush:

At first I was like bleh another peachy apricot shade which I already have so many of.  But this one is actually quite unique, it has this pink iridescent sheen to it, very pretty.

Start to Finish Bronzer (freebie):

I actually find their new sliding jars kind of annoying.  It’s hassle having to open and close that slider thing every time, so I just leave it open.  This is a matte bronzer that does not have any orange shades, although it is more reddish than brownish.  Great for contouring since it’s matte.

Swatches:

Comparing the bronzer and Waffle Cone blush to my beloved NARS Laguna:

See what I mean by the EDM bronzer appearing more reddish than brownish?  Laguna is straight up brown.   I think I still love my Laguna more :)

—————————–

I wanted to share my two most favorite lipglosses ever.  They’re both MLBB shades and are very very similar to each other, but the subtle differences still makes it worth owning both.

MAC Viva Glam V Lipglass and Chanel Glossimer in Sarong:

MAC appears more pink whereas the Chanel appears more nude.

I’m sure tons of people already own this so I’m not going to review it.  A lot of people complain about the stickiness of MAC lipglasses but I actually find them just right, they dont’ feel sticky to me at all and have very good staying power.

This is my one and only Glossimer haha but I love it.  I have been lemming this shade for a while before I actually bought it.  It was love the first moment I put it on, so natural and flattering.

Unlike a lot of other Glossimers, Sarong is actually very very pigmented and THICK.  It’s almost like a liquid lipstick when applied, so it doesn’t have very high shine but the finished look is more like a glossy lipstick, perfect for everyday wear.  Not to mention, this is hands down the most long-lasting gloss I have ever tried.  It stays on even after 4 hours when most lipglosses wear away after barely an hour for me.

Swatches:

Top is MAC VGV and bottom is Chanel Sarong.  As you can see the MAC appears rosier and the Chanel appears more muted.

It’s been a while since I’ve ordered from EDM since I got full sizes and those things last forever! The new pressed blushes definitely look like they’re nicer than the loose version, minus the packaging. Love Waffle Cone :)

Hm, I didn’t get the new sliding packaging when I ordered *scratches head* I like the semi-matte for everyday wear, and o-glo for those days I want to, well, really glow!

You should definitely grab a multiple! Yes, they are expensive, but they last a long time and they’re absolutely gorgeous. If you had to get only one though, I’d say to get Copacabana. Its the ultimate natural looking highlighter and goes well with any blush! I use it with my Sonia Kashuk blush, EDM blushes, MAC blushes/MSFs–you can’t go wrong! If you have a $15 off $35, you’d be getting it for a real deal =D

the packaging of those blushes seems similar to drugstore natural lines like Physician Formula’s organic wear stuff. I guess they wanted to go for something biodegradable.

Apple has always been my favourite EM blush though I’m really liking Soft Touch and Best Friends a lot too.

I want a Chanel gloss! I don’t feel like splashing out the cash when it comes to glosses though because most of them don’t show up nicely on me. That reminds me I forgot to include it in my wishlist :)
